Welcome to the Vermont National Guard Fallen Heroes Memorial Website
This site was created with the greatest reverence and deep gratitude for the sacrifice of our Vermont National Guard Fallen Heroes. The purpose of the site is to educate others about the price that Vermonters have paid in the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT), and to share updates on a campaign to build a pavilion that will enhance the existing Memorial. This Memorial honors the legacy of Vermont National Guard members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the Global War on Terrorism. The Vermont National Guard Fallen Heroes Memorial is located at the Joint Forces HQ, Camp Johnson, Route 2A, Colchester, Vermont.
The Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation, Inc, in partnership with Revision Eyewear, commissioned the Vermont National Guard Fallen Heroes Memorial in order to erect a lasting, inspiring monument. This personal tribute built for the Guard, to honor the Guard, is a unified gift from the community, retirees, soldiers and airmen, all who sense a loss when a Guardsman “falls”.
The Vermont National Guard Fallen Heroes Committee (VTNGFHMC), an affiliate of the VTNG Charitable Foundation, is devoted to enhancing the Memorial that embodies the courage, integrity, loyalty, and character of our Fallen Heroes. We invite you to visit the Memorial page, and to view future design details and progress of the construction (published date to be determined). Our donation page provides a variety of ways to support this worthy and honorable cause.
